A number of measures have been implemented at the Boxberg Proving Ground for the protection of data and information. These include separately lockable offices, lockable cabinets and roll containers in each office, as well as lockable conference rooms which are hidden from sight.

The complete proving ground is surrounded by a fence. In order to limit views of the proving ground, a "tennis fence" has also been erected at critical points and vegetation has been planted.

Strictly forbidden: All over the Proving Ground no films or photographs whatsoever.
